Sessions will take place in Zoom throughout the festival weekend. Please download the app for the easiest experience; a link to the Zoom session room will be posted here shortly before the festival starts.
When sessioning in Zoom, it's not possible for everyone to play together and hear each other - therefore it will work more like a singaround/folk club, where everyone takes it in turns to lead a song or tune. While you are not leading you will need to mute your microphone (or the session leader will do it for you) and you can then join in at home.
For the best sound (particularly if you are playing an instrument) you need to have a USB mic, or audio interface - computer mics are designed for voices and often interpret instruments as background noise that needs to be filtered out!
